These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Sigmund Psych platform ("Platform"), operated by Sigmund Psych, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Intended Users

The Platform is intended solely for licensed healthcare providers and authorized institutional users.

Licensed healthcare providers include, but are not limited to:

  • Physicians
  • Psychiatrists
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners
  • Physician Associates / Physician Assistants
  • Primary Care Clinicians
  • Psychologists
  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers
  • Licensed Professional Counselors
  • Licensed Therapists
  • Other licensed behavioral health professionals

The Platform is not intended for patient or consumer use.

2. Nature of the Platform

Sigmund Psych is a clinical decision support and educational platform.

The Platform:

  • Provides structured treatment frameworks
  • Organizes published psychiatric guidelines and clinical research
  • Includes reference tools such as dose equivalency calculators

The Platform does not:

  • Provide patient-specific medical advice
  • Generate individualized treatment recommendations
  • Replace independent clinical judgment
  • Practice medicine

All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the licensed clinician.

3. Clinical Responsibility

Users acknowledge that:

  • The Platform is informational and reference-based
  • Medical decision-making remains their responsibility
  • Risk-benefit analysis remains their responsibility
  • Determination of medical necessity remains their responsibility
  • Coding compliance remains their responsibility

The Company assumes no liability for clinical decisions or patient outcomes.

4. Reference Tools

Interactive tools, including dose equivalency calculators, are reference tools based on published data.

They do not automate prescribing decisions.

Clinicians must independently verify dosing and treatment decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

All content and materials are owned by Sigmund Psych, LLC.

Users may not:

  • Reproduce
  • Redistribute
  • Resell
  • Reverse engineer
  • Share login credentials

Use is limited to professional use under an active subscription.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is."

The Company makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy
  • Completeness
  • Uninterrupted access

Clinical standards evolve, and users are responsible for verifying current guidance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, the Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Clinical decisions
  • Patient outcomes
  • Billing decisions
  • Indirect or consequential damages

8. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Platform shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration in the State of Florida.

You waive:

  • The right to a jury trial
  • The right to participate in a class action or class arbitration

Florida law governs these Terms.

9. Modifications

The Company may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
